Established over 50 years ago (originally named Mooremaster Mfg.), Ron Spears purchased and renamed the company Able Barmilling & Mfg. Co., Inc.  in March of 1983. Able Barmilling & Mfg. Co., Inc., proudly produces special profiles on standard bars, plate, or tubing in all metals and rigid plastics in stock lengths up to 24 feet for a wide variety of industrial applications, including components for the automotive, computer, surgical, food processing, paper products and special machinery industries. Over the years, Ron saw an increased demand for fully keyed shafting.  He recognized its use as a universal substitute for partially keyed products. Our keyshaft can be utilized as a machined part with minimal loss of strength. His vision of stocking and selling this product led to the establishment of Excalibur Pre-Keyed Shafting, Inc. in 1995.
